It is Monday afterall...
*This really should be over at Opaque, but there isn't enough readers there yet and I just wanted to share with the 'masses'.*
Ever begin to shave your legs, get distracted and forget to do the other one?
Ever have two pairs of shoes same exact style, different colors, get to work and realize you have one black and one brown on?
Ever put your foot in your shoe, feel something, dust it off as just a sock. More than likely one of the kids?
Ever remove said shoe(AND not notice its a different color) to remove the foul offending sock, to find a dead mouse?
Ever jump around and do the heebie geebies?
Ever have a small glimmer of okayedness(its MY word) and think maybe, just maybe one of the three stealth yet daft cats may have caught the mouse that has taken residence?
Ever wonder what the REST of the day is going to be like?

I have done the two different color shoes before. Does stepping on a dead mouse barefooted count, especially if you're not sure it was dead before you stepped on it?
Oooh, ick about the dead mouse!!! I've never done that one but I have worn a shoe and felt what I thought was a bit of the sole that had come loose only to discover at the end of the day that it was a BUG!!!! And I was barefoot!!!!!! Eeeewwwwwwww. ;-)

I have been known to shave only one leg as well. But I'm lacking in shoes so no problems there.

One of my close relatives felt a mouse in bed with her last week. It moved up and up under the covers until it touched her arm. She jumped out screaming. Poor thing was terrified...so was my relative. Well, imagine being so tiny and suddenly realising you've wandered into the wrong place!

1) nope, i don't shave.
2) nope, don't own 2 pairs of shoes the same but different colours.
3) nope. almost put my foot into a shoe with a scorpion once, tho. a live scorpion.

however, my grandmother once took a lump of mashed potatoes, tossed them down the footy of her jammies and held it out to her mother. told her mother, "there's a dead mouse in there" as her mother touched the foot jammy. she fainted.
lol i have my grandmother's sense of humour. :D

oh, god.
i rarely shave, so when i do, it's like AN OCCASION. and i used to have pet rats, so a dead mouse would more make me cry than creeped out. however the shoe issue will never be a problem for me, since i own maybe 3 pairs that are all very different :P
