Learning Curve

I learn something new everyday. About myself, the people in my life, the people around my life, life in general and some new useless knowledge as well.
Here's what I've learned in my neck of the woods:

I learned:
~That a flower will bloom in the middle of winter. I hope my garden is full.
~I need to get off my ass and get these scripts out. They won't mail themselves.
~I dislike insurance companies. STILL!!
~I dislike my doctors at the moment.
~I am normal. Eeeekk.....
~A normal everyday freak...
~I hold many close to my heart, even when I am the emotional mason.
~I miss watching Monty Python...and just laughing silly.
~Memories can bitchslap ya pretty hard.
~I can be a miserable bitch.
~I am very competitive...
~I create goals that are out of reach.
~Otto, the 12 yr old, is a really good violin player. Plays by ear.
~I have no regrets for any misgivings, Where I was led me to here.
~Music brings a lot of joy in this house.
~I believe.
~I doubt myself, a lot.
~That letting go is one of the most difficult 'things' to do, yet liberating when done.
~A smile goes a long way. Laughter carries you farther.
~There is just not enough coffee in this world somedays.
~On that note: People need to leave coffee alone, what's the deal with this pumpkin spice? It's just not right!
~That I am inspired by strangers.
~The worst thing anyone can ever say to you...."No"
~I've been called worse things by better people.
~Dreams persist.
~Dwelling in anger, hides all the good.
~Sometimes the distance between people grows larger the closer you are.
~Did I say, I hate snow?....still. It's coming.....soon. :shiver:
~About Space: It's not the final frontier. Yet a distance necessary to persevere.
~I think I can ascribe someone else's motivations, yet not my own.
~I miss unique people.
~I am mindful.
~Everybody has a reason to abandon their plans. I still believe this..
~I love.
~and lastly...I learned that through all the minutia I have waded through , I still came out ahead. I am here, I can see my sunrises every morn and peacefully watch her set and give way to evening moon. All is good.

Thats' what I learned in my neck of the woods. What did you learn in yours??

Peace
Jodi

What a lovely post...now I'll have to give some thought to all the things I have learnt..

Tracey
Great list!

I learned that my words resonate, which is an incredibly rewarding realization for a writer!
I learned that space is what prevents everything from happening all in the same place.
